London & Sussex Autism Assessments

Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) assessments for children, young people and adults

We offer high quality, expert assessments, that are professional and friendly.

We are a small team of clinicians who are very experienced working with people with ASC across the lifespan. The team is made up of Clinical Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapist, Psychotherapist, Trainee and Assistant Psychologists.

We are all trained and experienced in the assessment tools that we use. We are also registered with relevant professional bodies.  We are friendly and professional and frequently get feedback on how we managed to make people feel at ease during the assessment process. Core values we believe in

At London & Sussex Autism Assessments, we take a neuroaffirming approach to the assessment and diagnosis (if appropriate). Whilst there are some challenges that can come with being autistic, there are many strengths too. We aim to make the process enlightening and empowering and regularly receive feedback that the outcome of the assessment has positively impacted on a person’s quality of life.

We know that choosing a private provider to undertake an autism assessment can be daunting. Our assessments follow the NICE guidelines (links) and therefore there are no issues with assessment results being accepted by schools, universities and workplaces. Whilst many providers now offer the entire assessment online, we remain committed to the gold standard approach: all ADOS assessments are carried out face to face which means that you can be confident of the findings.

Clinical Excellence

We strive for clinical excellence in autism assessment and diagnosis. We will continuously update and enhance assessment techniques and tools to ensure accurate and thorough evaluations.

Collaborative Care

We promote collaboration among multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educators. Working together ensures a holistic approach to diagnosis and treatment planning.

Individualised Support

We recognise that each individual with autism is unique and deserves personalised care. We tailor assessment and intervention plans to meet the specific needs and strengths of each person.

Community Education

We engage with the local community to raise awareness and understanding of autism. We provide educational resources and workshops to empower families, educators, and caregivers to better support individuals with autism.

Empathy and Compassion

We show unwavering empathy and compassion for individuals with autism and their families. We recognise the unique challenges they face and provide support with understanding and kindness.

Our insurance partners

We work with a range of trusted insurance partners to make accessing our services as straightforward as possible. We’re here to guide you and help you focus on getting the right support.
